Black nannies, known as "Babas" are responsible for the well being of white children of rich upper middle class Rio families, who's parents either both work or where the mother often sleeps in late, leaving the care of the child to the nanny. In the picture, the nannies congregate in two favoured spots in Rio's Ipanema and Leblon neighbourhoods, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
